A Day at the Park

Today we spent the day walking around Ulsan Grand Park, which is about a 5 minute bus ride from our apartment. We didn't realize until today how HUGE this park is...900 acres! We looked it up, and Disney's Magic Kingdom is 107 acres to give you an idea of the immensity. It has everything from swimming pools with slides, petting zoo, butterfly garden, museums, numerous playgrounds, hiking and biking trails, rock climbing wall, lakes, and much more. We had only walked around the lake seen in the picture below before, but today we explored more, but still only covered about a third of the park!

We really enjoyed the windmill...felt like we were in Holland.

We thought the ducks were really beautiful with all their different colors.
The park was packed with families and we ran into some of our students: above is Alvin and John
We also ran into brothers Fred and Henry!
Fred- our kindergarten student
This was like a white plastic trampoline-type thing that the kids jumped and slid on.
